High Altitude

A jumping party is widely recognised as one of the most awesome ways to celebrate a child’s birthday. As such a special occasion, parents want to provide the most memorable, exciting, and enjoyable party experience possible for their kids. At High Altitude, that’s exactly what we offer through our jump party packages.

In this blog post, we want to tell you all about jumping parties – what they are, what they typically consist of, and who they’re for. Whether you’ve never organised or attended a jumping birthday party or have done so at another local venue, you’ll walk away from this blog with a better understanding of jumping parties and perhaps even want to book one yourself for your little one!

What is a Jumping Party?

The very first question you may be asking is, ‘What the heck is a jumping party?’. Essentially, a jumping party is an exciting, active, super fun birthday celebration hosted at a trampoline park. As trampoline parks are go-to spots for allowing your kids to burn off all of their crazy energy, you can imagine the levels of excitement at a jumping party. These parties are centred around the combination of birthday festivities and the exhilarating fun of jumping on trampolines, making them a great way for kids to get active while celebrating their birthdays.

Depending on the jump park you visit, it’s not just trampolines that make up a jumping party. For example, at our park, party guests have access to the trampolines as well as the inflatables area, airbag jump and other indoor attractions. Birthday kids and their guests get to enjoy a unique and energetic experience that makes jumping parties so much more exciting than traditional celebrations.

A big reason to host a child’s birthday party at a trampoline park is the fact that you can celebrate your child’s birthday in a safe, controlled environment where children can release their energy and engage in structured play with their closest friends. We take trampoline park safety seriously, which ensures high levels of fun for everyone involved and peace of mind for parents.

Different Age Groups at Trampoline Park Parties

One of the main advantages of hosting a jumping party at a trampoline park is that these venues are designed to accommodate multiple age groups. Age-appropriate activities are a big part of birthday party planning, but it’s made easy with a jumping party.

Whether you’re planning a party for a toddler or an older child, we split our offering into different jump party packages based on age, just like our normal daily trampoline sessions.

Tailored Jump Party Packages

Every child is different, so when birthday party planning, customisation is key. Most trampoline parks will offer a variety of jump party packages that cater to different needs, preferences and budgets. Packages are typically separated by how many guests will be in attendance and whether the whole court is being reserved or not.

For instance, we have split our trampoline park parties into three different jump party packages:

The Classic Party

£From 1695 pp
  • 1-hour jump time
  • Birthday banquet
  • Minimum of 10 participants

The Ultimate Party

£From 2345 pp
  • 2-hour jump time
  • Birthday banquet
  • Minimum of 10 participants

The Exclusive Party

£From 1995 pp
  • Exclusive park hire
  • Birthday banquet
  • Minimum of 20 participants

Parties are customisable further with the attendees getting a choice of what party food they want and parents may also be able to purchase extra add-ons, such as slushies or sweet bags.

Food and Refreshments at a Jumping Party

Jump parks understand that after an action-packed session of bouncing, running and flipping, kids are going to need to refuel. And what’s a party without a delicious birthday banquet? Yep, birthday party planning just got a lot easier, with most jumping party venues coming with catering options. The birthday boy/girl will often get to select their choice of birthday food from a predefined party menu, and possibly even pick tasty extras.

To give you a better idea of what you can expect from food and refreshments at a jumping party, here’s what High Altitude offer to our trampoline park birthday party bookings:

With High Altitude, there is also the option to add extras upon request. The only thing we ask from you parents is that you sort the birthday cake. Why? Because the birthday cake is so important to a child’s birthday and you’re going to know just the right cake to arrange. You bring it and we’ll prepare and serve it, ensuring everyone gets a slice!

Trampoline and Inflatable Party Games

The main draw for a jumping party is, of course, the trampolines – the party jumpers will get free roam of the entire trampoline court, and depending on which one you visit, that’s a lot of trampolines. If you’re visiting somewhere like High Altitude Trampoline Park in Norwich, there may also be an inflatable area or bouncy castle that is available to jump and play on as well.

Other amenities may include airbag jumps, basketball hoops, soft play, dodgeball courts, form pits, and more. These extras – that are normally included in the overall price of your party – keep the jumping party exciting, offering more than just free jumping, even though it is super fun. So, really, when you choose to arrange a jumping party for your child, keep in mind that your child and guests are likely in for a lot more than just trampolines.

High Altitude even offers another type of super unique jumping party – sleepover parties! These parties are just like normal jumping parties but go on until bedtime, where jumpers settle down for the night with a movie and sleep over until morning. When the sun is up, it’s time for bouncing and breakfast. Sleepover parties are also available for sports clubs and groups

Stress-Free Birthday Party Planning for Parents

As much fun as a child’s birthday can be, and even though it is a joyous occasion for parents, the simple fact is that planning a party is stressful for parents, or at least it can be. But it doesn’t have to be like this. Another top benefit of a jumping party is the fact that they are typically a full-service package. What does this mean? It means that the trampoline park party staff will handle almost everything for you, from setup to cleanup.

We are so lucky to have an awesome team at High Altitude. For all party bookings, they will send you downloadable invites, reminders of your party, and ensure everyone attending has filled in the necessary paperwork. On the day, they will decorate the party area, assist with check-in, serve up the food and cake, and you’ll even have your own party host on hand throughout.

So jumping parties make birthday party planning so much easier for parents, which is one big extra plus point. This means you also get to enjoy the party, watching your child have immense fun on their special day without dreading the tidy-up when everyone else has gone home.

How to Book a Jumping Party?

If we’ve sold you on the idea and you’re ready to book, you’ll be pleased to know this is usually a pretty straightforward process. Most trampoline parks are like High Altitude and offer an easy-to-follow booking system where you can choose your preferred date and time, select the number of tickets needed or the number of guests, an option to add extras, food selection, and then checkout! Try out our system and book a party for your child.

If you’d rather speak to someone, you can typically get in contact with your chosen venue via phone or email, which is usually found on the Contact page of their website.

However you decide to book, we always recommend booking well in advance to get the date you want, especially if you’re booking on a weekend or busy holiday period. If you book with somewhere like High Altitude, the cost is very affordable and for the amount that is included, the value for money is excellent.
